For oily, fine hair. Please avoid in pregnancy as it contains lemongrass oil. Moms-to-be can consider the GREEN QUEEN shampoo bar, or the fragrance-free NAKED OCEAN shampoo bar.

Washing oily hair with strong cleansers only stimulates the scalp to produce more sebum! This bar contains gentle cleansers, including pink clay, which exfoliates and uplifts thin hair without stripping the scalp's natural oils. Grapefruit, bergamot and lemongrass oils work to control sebum production.

This is not soap but a shampoo bar that is pH-suitable for the hair and scalp. You will not need an acidic rinse or transition period as with shampoo bars that are actually soaps.

Regular: 90 g, good for 60 washes.

Travel: 20 g, good for 10-20 washes.

Directions for use: To ensure it lasts for as long as possible, do not run your shampoo bar under running water, but rub it gently with wet hands. You'll only need a small amount of product each wash. Keep it in a cool, dry place and allow it to dry out between uses.

Note: The shampoo bars were formulated in the UK. From personally using the regular sized Fresh Start bar, I've found that it is best suited for a cooler climate. In Singapore, you may need to store your shampoo bar in the bedroom or in the fridge to maintain its hardness. Other than this, the shampoo bar effectively cleanses and controls scalp sebum production. The conditioner bars are completely fine and do well in our hot climate.
